For one semester during my studies as a journalism graduate student at USC, I covered a city council district in Los Angeles. My district, CD4, was a relatively uneventful area that reached into North Hollywood and the Hollywood Hills, encompassing parts of Silver Lake, Toluca Lake, Los Feliz and south into Koreatown. The famous "Hollywood" sign was also part of the district.
